Learn-to-crochet workshop

This is the second learn-to-crochet workshop and it will be offered from 5-8 p.m. Aug. 29 at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport.Community members will crochet small circles that will form a larger public art project in October on 7th Avenue in Rock Island .

Yarn bomb events begin Aug. 28

This fall, Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø will seek the help of Quad-City citizens to "yarn bomb" a tree along 7th Avenue in Rock Island.

Schwiebert '72 establishes fund to address climate change

Mark Schwiebert '72, a former Rock Island mayor and Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø trustee, has established a fund that will award grants each year for environmental education and studies.
