Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø and Trinity have partnered for years through programs such as the direct-entry 2+2 nursing pathway. This next step builds on an established academic relationship and shared commitment to preparing health care professionals for the region.

As part of Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø, you are now connected to a broader academic community grounded in the liberal arts and sciences. This includes expanded library access, interdisciplinary expertise and campus-wide academic support that complements your professional preparation.

Clinical excellence remains at the core. The liberal arts deepens it.

Beginning July 1, and in some cases prior, you¡¯ll gain access to Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø resources, spaces and support services designed to strengthen your success. This page will guide you through what to expect and how to engage.

What to expect

Transition timeline

  • Now ¨C June 30: Programs operate as currently structured.
  • July 1: You remain a student of Trinity Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø of Nursing & Health Sciences and gain access to Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø resources and campus services. 
  • 2026¨C2028: Integration milestones are completed as regulatory approvals are finalized.

Leading up to July 1

  • Step 1: Claim your Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø email account. You¡¯ll receive an invitation to activate your augustana.edu email. This gives you access to library systems, campus communications and student platforms.
  • Step 2: Pick up your Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø ID card. You¡¯ll be notified when your Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø ID is ready for pick up - this gives you access to the Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø library, campus recreation facilities and other campus spaces.
  • Step 3: Explore campus resources available to you. Beginning July 1, you may use Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø services. You can now begin to explore some campus resources, including library access, academic support and student life programming.

What stays the same

  • Your academic program continues as planned.
  • Your graduation timeline remains intact.
  • Your clinical experiences and faculty relationships remain in place.
  • Your status as a student of Trinity Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø of Nursing doesn't change.

Spring Preview Day

Spring Preview Days help prospective students and their families learn more about what Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø has to offer.

Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Symphonic Band concert in Aurora, Ill.

The Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Symphonic Band, directed by Dr. James Lambrecht, will tour the Midwest in March.

Waffle Day (V?ffeldagen)

The American Scandinavian Association will serve a Waffle Day meal of waffles, sausage, lingonberry and coffee. It is open to the public.

Cost is $11 for adults and $9 for students.

Futurist Thinking Series: 'What AI Can't Teach: Belonging, Humanity and the Purpose of Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø'

The Futurist Thinking Series at Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø is a high-energy dialogue where innovators and big thinkers tackle the questions shaping the next decade of education, leadership and human potential. The March session is titled "What AI Can't Teach: What Will a Student Remember in 20 Years?"

Students will perform a composition recital.

Clothesline Project

The Office of Sexual Assault Prevention Education will be creating and decorating the space of the You Belong Lounge with shirts to show support for victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

CELTS event: 'How do I assess my teaching/research/work?'

In this session, we'll evaluate how to assess teaching, research and work and share examples of how others are assessing student learning and academic programs. Learn more from the experts on the Assessment for Improvement Committee (AIC).

Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø's Endowment Society encourages all interested persons to gather for the monthly meeting.

This month, Dr. Scott Gehler, Associate Professor of Biology, will present ¡°Direct Entry 2+2 Nursing Program with Trinity Nursing & Health Sciences.¡±

Lecture: 'Controlling the Chaos: Student-Designed Experiments for Smarter Sensors'

Dr. Amanda Wilmsmeyer, associate professor of chemistry and biochemistry, will present "Controlling the Chaos: Student-Designed Experiments for Smarter Sensors." This public lecture celebrates Dr. Wilmsmeyer's appointment as the Robert W. Beart Chair in Chemistry at Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø.
