The Illinois Classical Conference will hold its 81st annual meeting at Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø today and Sunday. Most programs and sessions are in Old Main, from 8 a.m. today through 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

Little Lesson on Microagressions
Microaggressions are daily indignities that happen in conversation and come from intentional of unintentional bias. At the core, they're based on stereotypes. Dr. Monica Smith teaches us how to recognize microaggressions and how to draw attention to them in a non-confrontational way to create access and reduce stereotypes.

This presentation by Dr. Chris Strunk will examine the new geography of immigrant and refugee settlement in the rural Midwest in the context of the region¡¯s long history of global connections.
Dr. Strunk is an associate professor of geography at Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø.
