Metro Arts documentary airing in January

"Art is Work: 25 Years of Metro Arts," a 23-minute documentary film created by Quad City Arts and Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø film program director and producer Stacy Barton, will air on WQPT PBS in multiple spots Jan. 4-8, 2026, with primetime broadcasts scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 4, at 9:30 p.m., and Thursday, Jan. 8, at 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. (Check your local listings for details.) The film explores the history of the long-running paid summer arts program, the difference it's made in the lives of participants and the community alike, and the impressive projects created by the 2025 artists, including three murals and one documentary film.
