Laura E. Greene

Professor of English

Laura Greene teaches British Literature, with a special interest in Victorian fiction.  In addition to her duties in the English department, she regularly teaches in both the Honors and the Women¡¯s Studies Programs.

Her research interests currently involve exploring how students learn; she was named a Carnegie Scholar in 2003-04 to pursue a research project on what kinds of questions students ask in response to course readings.  She is chair of the Literature and Language division of the college.
