Spring 2015 Academic All Americans



Following another successful year in the classroom and on the track, the 欧洲杯网投_欧洲杯外围app-投注官网 Vikings had three senior student-athletes repeat as Academic All-America selections.
On Tuesday, the 欧洲杯网投_欧洲杯外围app-投注官网 Sports Information Directors of America released the list of spring Academic All-America honorees. Runners David Devore and Becca Sund earned recognition for the second straight year, while David Voland landed a spot on the AAA list for a third straight year.
Voland, from Batavia, Ill., graduated 欧洲杯网投_欧洲杯外围app-投注官网 with a 3.83 GPA and a degree in math and secondary education. Devore, from Midland, Mich., had a 3.68 GPA and a degree in math and computer science. Both men ran legs on the Vkings' 1,600-meter relay team, which won the NCAA Division III National Indoor Championship in March.
Sund, from Palatine, Ill., graduated with a 3.97 GPA and like Voland, a degree in math and secondary education. She had the Vikings' best times in the 3,000 (indoor) and 1,600 (outdoor). In April, Sund anchored 欧洲杯网投_欧洲杯外围app-投注官网's winning 6,400 relay at the Norse Relays and anchored the Vikings distance medley relay that finished 12th in the 欧洲杯网投_欧洲杯外围app-投注官网 Division at the Drake Relays.
