Jazz Ambassadors

The internationally acclaimed Jazz Ambassadors, official touring big band of the United States Army, will continue a tradition of free performances at 2 p.m. March 15 in Centennial Hall on campus.

This 19-member ensemble entertains all types of audiences with big band swing, bebop, Latin, contemporary jazz, standards, popular tunes, Dixieland, vocals, and patriotic selections.

As a component of The United States Army Field Band of Washington, DC, The Jazz Ambassadors supports its mission of carrying ¡°into the grassroots of our country the story of our magnificent Army.¡± The band has appeared in all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, Japan, India, and throughout Europe.
