Handel Oratorio Society spring performance

The Handel Oratorio Society's spring performance will include Bach's "Jesu, meine Freude" by Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Choral Artists, and Faur¨¦'s "Requiem Op. 48" by the Oratorio Society.

The Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Oratorio Society, later renamed the Handel Oratorio Society, was formed in 1880 by Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø theology Professor Olof Olsson. The ensemble is celebrated for exploring the riches of choral-orchestral literature.

The musicians of the Handel Oratorio Society include Quad Cities community members, Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø students, the Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Choir, the Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Symphony Orchestra and invited soloists.
