Architectural tour of Washington, D.C.
Alumni in the Washington, D.C., area are invited to an architectural tour led by Dr. Mary Em Kirn, Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø professor emerita of art history.
The tour will begin at 11 a.m. in front of the Treasury Building on Pennsylvania Avenue, and conclude at 1 p.m. with a lunch at Loeb's NY Deli on 1712 I Street NW.
Tickets are $20 and include lunch.
Dr. Kirn taught art history at Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø for 27 years, including seven European Terms. She has traveled extensively, researching works of art in many of the major museums in Europe and the United States. Since retirement, she continues to give art history lectures in southwest Florida and has led five Art Adventure tours to Italy, France, and Belgium. In October 2018, her next Art Adventure tour will be focused on London.
