Masterworks III: Water Music

The Quad City Symphony first explores English and German rivers through Handel¡¯s Water Music, a perennial favorite and Baroque Masterpiece, originally performed right on the Thames. Next, our beloved principal cellist Hannah Holman is spotlighted in Elgar¡¯s lushly emotional Cello Concerto. The program climaxes with Schumann¡¯s epic and swirling Rhine River tribute, Symphony #3.
