Mae McCarty

Mae McCarty works as a regional supervisor for nutrition education programs for families with limited incomes. She helps manage community education opportunities so that Iowans with low incomes stay healthy on a budget.

"I really enjoyed my experience at Augie and yet I never thought I would be in public health today. I love what I do and wish I had been able to see opportunities like this when I was in undergrad. I enjoy hearing from students what they are interested in and would love to share my story if it could be helpful to a student."
