Transfer, new students enrolling in January term

Mid-year transfer students and new first-year students may move into campus during January term to participate in athletics practice. New students cannot enroll in classes until the spring semester which begins in February. J-term move-in can take place anytime during J-term. (Exact arrival date should be worked out with coaches.)

Students interested in early-move during J-term will apply to the college as a degree-seeking student for spring semester. All regular admissions standards and tuition deposit requirements will apply.

Students will then need to complete a J-term early move-in form available upon request from the Admissions Office. This form requires students to choose an arrival date during J-term.

These students are required to pay an $800 fee for J-term, which covers housing, a full meal plan and campus activities. (Fee is not pro-rated based on arrival date.)

Participants in early J-term move-in can:

  • Acclimate to the college experience before enrolling in their spring course load.
  • Make friends and connect with the campus community.
  • Participate in campus activities, including varsity athletic practice.
  • Transition to college life over the 3.5-week J-term.

Students should work closely with the Business Office as they begin J-term, and will consult with their new advisor as they prepare to begin spring semester.

Like all Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø students, participating students will be expected to follow the Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Code of Conduct and Honor Code, and to fully engage in the academic experience.
