Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø has formed a partnership with select community colleges to offer their students a path to an affordable, high-quality education close to home.
Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø is nationally ranked for academic quality, innovation and value. One of the Best in the Midwest according to the Princeton Review, Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø also is known for its welcoming, diverse and international campus community.
Through Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Next, students applying to a partner community college with the intention of completing an associate of arts program may apply to Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø at the same time.
From Day 1, these students will have access to Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø¡¯s academic resources and student life opportunities. These include:
- An Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø academic advisor
- An Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø professor from their desired major to discuss course choices, topics and available opportunities
- The ability to enroll in any two Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø courses ¡ª in-person or online during the year or in summer, general education or major ¡ª for just $175 a credit. Students may be able to reverse transfer these credits to apply to their associate degrees.
- An Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø student identification card and email address, which grants them immediate and full access to the Thomas Tredway Library, library databases, campus facilities, sporting and cultural events, plus program evaluation software that provides ¡°what if?¡± simulations for every Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø major.
Junior standing at Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø
Once dual-enrolled students have earned an associate's degree, they automatically are admitted to Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø (provided that transfer admission requirements are met). They will have fulfilled Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø¡¯s first-year inquiry and learning perspective general education requirements, will have junior standing, and can begin taking junior-level courses, though they still have to meet individual course prerequisites.
Because some career technical education and transitional courses don¡¯t match up with Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø¡¯s curriculum, Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø will evaluate courses for transfer eligibility based on an official transcript the community college.
There is no extra fee for dual application. Students also may apply to Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø during their first and second year attending their partner community college. Application to Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø does not obligate the student to attend or limit their ability to apply to other schools.

Program requirements
- Concurrent enrollment at a partner institution in an AA program.
- Verification of enrollment will be required as part of the application process.
- Students will need to provide updated transcripts of any college work as part of the application process.
- Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Next students will need to sign the student honor pledge and student agreement before beginning the advising process.
