This band provides concert band experience for all interested students, and can be a credit or non-credit course. The band rehearses twice weekly and presents a concert every term.
Formed more than 30 years ago, the Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Concert Band the largest music ensemble at Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø. In addition to offering a balanced approach for ensemble involvement, the band also provides an opportunity for students who play in the Symphonic Band or Symphony Orchestra, or who sing in one of the choirs, to perform on a second instrument.
The Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Symphonic Band, directed by Dr. James Lambrecht, will bring performances to communities across Illinois and Wisconsin March 20-26.
Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø will host its annual Shockingly Modern Saxophone Festival on Feb. 21. The event, featuring guest artists John Sampen and Mark Bunce, will be held at Bergendoff Hall, located at 3701 7th Ave. All events are free and open to the public.
Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø's Jenny Lind Vocal Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Michael Zemek, will embark on a performance tour March 20-23, 2026. The tour will kick off in Chicago, Ill., and then they will continue on to perform in Seattle, Wash., and Portland, Ore.
The Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Jazz Combos will perform, directed by Dr. Joel Linscheid.
The Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Chamber Orchestra will perform.
Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø's Jenny Lind Vocal Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Michael Zemek, will perform in Huntley, Ill., before embarking on a performance tour in Seattle and Portland.
