Students kick off inauguration festivities
The celebration of President Andrea Talentino's inauguration started Sunday with an Inauguration Kickoff Student Picnic, a special event just for students.
Student leaders planned the event to welcome President Talentino and her family to Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø, and as a way for students to get to know more about Augie¡¯s ninth president.
Student groups introduced themselves to the new president and she answered questions in an Oprah-style interview. She also participated in karaoke singing Madonna's "Material Girl."
Students Ayomide David and Julianne Hoff interviewed President Talentino on stage. David was representing the Multicultural Programing Board. Hoff was the cocoordinator for Welcome Week and also works as a Student Organizations engagement coordinator.
