Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Symphonic Band concert in Cambridge, Wis.
The Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Symphonic Band, directed by Dr. James Lambrecht, will tour the Midwest in March.
The tour kicks off on March 20 in Oregon, Ill., and includes performances in Chicago and Greenfield, Wis. A final performance will be held at Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø¡¯s Centennial Hall on April 11. All concerts are free and open to the public. A freewill offering will be accepted.
The Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Symphonic Band, which performs music of the highest artistic quality written for the wind band, was established in 1874. Recently, the ensemble celebrated its 150th anniversary with a specially commissioned piece by composer Kevin Walczyk. The ensemble tours annually, with its most recent tours being to the east coast and Japan.
