A Swingin¡¯ Christmas at Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø

The Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Jazz Ensemble and Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Jazz Combos will present "A Swingin¡¯ Christmas at Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø," directed by Joel Linscheid.

The concert will feature a variety of holiday favorites, including "Sleigh Ride" (as performed by the Glenn Miller Orchestra), "Winter Wonderland" (as sung by Ella Fitzgerald) and "Jingle Bells" (as performed by the Count Basie Orchestra).

The Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Jazz Ensemble also will p lay three movements of the famous ¡°Ellington Nutcracker¡±¡ª Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn¡¯s reinterpretation of Tchaikovsky¡¯s Nutcracker Suite. In addition to the Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Jazz Ensemble, the Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Jazz Combos will be featured on the concert.
