Opera Quad Cities dinner and program
Opera Quad Cities will hold its inaugural gala dinner and a program by local performers including Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø's Shelley Cooper, soprano.
The program also will feature mezzo-soprano Kelly Hill, tenor Eric Ashcraft and bass-baritone Saul Nache.
Opera Quad Cities is a nonprofit supporting opera and related programs in the community. Partners in the group are Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø, St. Ambrose University and Genesius Guild. Last year the group produced Mozart's ¡°The Marriage of Figaro.¡±
In June, they will stage Gilbert & Sullivan's operetta ¡°The Pirates of Penzance.¡±
