International Street Fest: Culture Show

The Office of Multicultural Student Life will sponsor the International Street Fest, with a fashion show of traditional clothing, international dinner, game night and folklore presentation. All events are free except the dinner.

The final event of the International Street Fest will be a fashion show of traditional clothing from around the world, featuring an exhibit of student artifacts. The first 50 attendees will receive a GET novelty water bottle and Beats by Dre headphones will be raffled off. Hors d¡¯oeuvres and refreshments will be served.

If you are interested in representing your culture on the catwalk, please sign up by January 25th.

Folklore & More is from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, followed by Game Night in the Brew by the Slough. Those interested in competing at Game Night should register by Jan. 25.

On Friday, the dinner will be served from 4:30-7 p.m. in the dining hall. The cost of the international dinner is $11.25 for those without an Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø meal plan. The menu will represent Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and the U.S.

The Culture Show will begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the G?vle Rooms. There will be fashion show of traditional clothing from around the world and an exhibit of student artifacts. Hors d¡¯oeuvres and refreshments will be served. Those interested in participating should sign up by Jan. 25.
