DESCRIPTION:The annual Shockingly Modern Saxophone Festival returns to Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø\, featuring solo and chamber music.\n\nGuest artists will include Jorge Hoyo from Mexico City and the festival will commission a new work from the German composer\, Hainbach.\n\nThe festival also will feature performances from Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø faculty members and the Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Saxophone Studio.\n\nThe festival events are free and open to the public.\n\nSchedule\n\n10 a.m.&nbsp\;Concert One with members of the Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Saxophone Studio\n\n11 a.m.&nbsp\;Saxophone masterclass with Jorge Hoyo\; students will perform)\n\n2:30 p.m.&nbsp\;Concert Two with&nbsp\;Randall Hall and the&nbsp\;world premiere of new work by Hainbach\n\n3:30 p.m.&nbsp\;Guest artist Q&amp\;A with Jorge Hoyo\n\n7:30 p.m.&nbsp\;Concert Three:&nbsp\;Jorge Hoyo\, festival guest artist\n\nAll events will be held in Wallenberg Hall inside the Denkmann Memorial Building.
