DESCRIPTION:Dr. Grant Deane is an ocean acoustician and research oceanographer in the Marine Physical Laboratory at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. He worked to record\, isolate and incorporate the sounds of melting ice and calving glaciers in the exhibition "Mia Feuer: Totems of the Anthropocene\," now at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport.\n\nDr. Deane will speak about this process as part of the larger work he does\, as it relates to Feuer’s body of work.
