He uses creative mapping\, "repeat"\nphotography\, and archival research to connect Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø's past landscapes to the present. Repeat photography involves reshooting a historic photo from the same location. Using this technique\, along with overlays and animations\, he can describe change over time.\n\nThe Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Historical Society\, founded in 1930\, exists to preserve the history of Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø\, and its relationship to the Lutheran Church and to Swedish-American immigration and culture. Its annual spring program is open to members and non-members alike\, free of charge.\n\nFree parking is available in the Centennial Hall lot\, located on the northwest corner of 38th Street and 7th Avenue.\n URL;VALUE=URI:/about-us/events/2019/ten-views-augie-historical-geography-augustana-college SUMMARY:Ten Views of Augie: A Historical Geography of Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø DTSTART:20190425T000000Z END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
