The central role of the medical scribe is to relieve the physician of clerical or secretarial duties\; thus allowing the physician to focus more directly on clinical care. The scribe observes the physician during patient encounters and enters information into the patient's electronic chart under the direction of the physician.\n\nScribeAmerica currently has several part-time openings as well as full-time and gap year opportunities in Family Medicine\, Neurosurgery\, Gastroenterology\, OB/GYN\, and Pain Clinics.\n
