The \;first exhibit is titled "moments\," featuring local artists' \; work capturing \;everyday life.\n\nThere will be an opening reception from 5-6 \;p.m. Feb. 7. The works will remain on view at the library until May 31. The library is at \;806 1st Ave.\, Silvis\, Ill.\n\nA student committee of Jessamine Burch\, Lauren Clapp\, Sydney Gilbert\, Ashley Martin and Elise Morgan curated the exhibit.\n\nThe students worked collaboratively to choose works for the exhibition based on the space and audience for the work\, helped ready the works for exhibition\, and wrote a short brochure for patrons to learn a bit more about the works and the exhibition itself.\n\nThis exhibition features selections from the museum collections that consider the ways that art captures the moments of everyday life.
