DESCRIPTION:Students interested in public health and outreach are invited to learn about Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Community Health Outreach Organization (ACHOO).\n\nACHOO will hold its first meeting of the year and plan its activities.\n\nRecent projects have included:\n\n? Adopting a recently immigrated World Relief family by providing Christmas gifts (for the past 15 years!)\n\n? Sponsoring a ¡°Zombie Run¡± on campus to promote disaster preparedness\n\n? Hosting American Heart Association HeartSaver CPR &amp\; First Aid certification courses on campus\n\nACHOO will&nbsp\;add&nbsp\;Public Health Week activities this year and welcomes suggestions from new members.\n\nACHOO¡¯s mission is to promote health awareness and education through various outreach projects for both the Quad Cities community and the Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø campus community. Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Student-Medical Reserve Corps is a subgroup of ACHOO whose members complete a national training program in disaster preparedness and serve as part of the Rock Island County MRC in the event of a local disaster.\n
