DESCRIPTION:Students interested in graphic design\, coding\, marketing/public relations\, social media\, writing\,&nbsp\;research\, video editing\, event planning or project management are invited to learn about the Entrepreneurial Center (EDGE for short) located in Olin 104. EDGE is open&nbsp\;to&nbsp\;students of all majors\, no matter what their experience level.&nbsp\;\n\nThe EDGE Center offers a variety of opportunities\, including: Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Web Guild: a student group that functions as its own web development business with over 225 clients on annual contract. (Skills: web development\, coding\, graphic design\, content strategy\, client communication)\n\nADs: a student group that competes in the annual National Student Advertising Competition. In this competition\, we get a case study from a large corporation and proceed&nbsp\;to&nbsp\;build a year-long advertising campaign\, which we pitch&nbsp\;to&nbsp\;representatives of the company in the spring. (Skills: research\, idea generation\, graphic design\, presentation skills\, teamwork)???????\nadvantEDGE Design: designers work on a number of projects\, including book layouts\, the campus directory\, letterheads\, logos\, handouts\, flyers\, and business cards. (Skills: graphic design\, time management\, client communication)\nVideo editing: this includes the Black Squirrel Productions student group\, which produces videos\, along with various video projects done through the EDGE Center for area businesses and nonprofits. (Skills: video production\, video editing)\nEDGE Event Planning: the EDGE event planners assist in running an international conference of family therapists throughout the year. (Skills: event planning\, event logistics\, client communication\, time management)\nHer Campus: a new student group that publishes relevant articles empowering women by women. (Skills: writing\, editing\, graphic design\, social media\, marketing\, event planning\, time management\, teamwork\, communication)\n
