DESCRIPTION:The Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Veterans Support Group and the Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Greek Council invite the public to join a special program honoring veterans. All veterans in attendance will be introduced and recognized.\n\nThe keynote address will be given by Pastor Larry Conway\, a retired Army chaplain who is the senior pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moline. His topic will be ¡°The Human Side of Serving in the Military.¡±\n\nThe colors will be presented by the Vietnam Veterans of American Chapter 299 Honor Guard\, followed by the singing of the national anthem by an ensemble of members of the Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Choir. The ceremony will conclude with ¡°Taps\,¡± played by Jill King\, an Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø graduate who played the trumpet in the First U.S. Army Band.\n\nThe event is part of Greek Week\, a cooperative effort of all Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø fraternities and sororities.\n
