Summer is a time for relaxation and enjoyment but also a time of planning for the future. One of the best ways to prepare for the important college selection is through campus tours. As such, I highly recommend visiting over the summer for a multitude of reasons.

Gorgeous Campus

Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø puts a lot of effort into creating a welcoming environment, starting with the campus itself. I¡¯ve seen the grounds crew working hard through the summer, and the metaphorical fruits of their labor are noticed instantly. Thus, a summer tour around the campus could even be classified as a nature walk. Not only will you learn about Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø and know if it¡¯s a right fit for you, but it will also be a welcome break from the more stressful aspects of life. In fact, the National Park Service reports that nature walks can help with self-esteem and relaxation and reduce anxiety and depression. Personally, I often find that walking through just about any part of campus can help me relax and clear my mind.

Immediate Information

Not only is summer a beautiful time, but it¡¯s also an earlier time. Suppose you are a rising junior or, especially, a rising senior. In that case, better understanding potential colleges now instead of during the school year will be a massive help. Many peers I know, myself included, had a tough time deciding on what college to attend, and getting the personable tour earlier helped a lot when navigating the rest of the college information.

Convenient Time

Finally, the summer is much more convenient. Taking a day off of a summer job will be much easier than a day out of school. At least then, you don¡¯t have to make up any schoolwork. Especially if you have a longer drive to get here, doing so while you are off from school will be much easier than otherwise.

Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø tours can be invaluable experiences for better understanding the place where you¡¯ll be spending the next four years studying and making sure you do them at the right time can be just as important. I highly recommend signing up for a summer tour of Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø to get information sooner and when it's convenient while taking in our gorgeous campus!
